Kansas City Chiefs Clinch Third Consecutive Super Bowl Berth After Beating Buffalo Bills in Hard-Fought AFC Championship Game
The Kansas City Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl for a third consecutive year after beating the Buffalo Bills in a hard- fought AFC championship game.
The Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, the team that secured their Super Bowl berth earlier on Sunday by defeating the Washington Commanders 55-23 at home. For Philadelphia, the victory caps a strong season with quarterback Jalen Hurts and the addition of running back Saquon Barkley, who was signed as a free agent to three-year deal with the team last March. With three minutes to go in the quarter, as the score reached 55-23, Eagles’ players and coaches started celebrating, high-fiving and dumping big tubs of Gatorade on one another on the sidelines.
