Place the cute sight of the kangaroo standing and holding its ticket on the internet, and it became mad, with reactions ranging from disbelief to pure, unadulterated humor. Thus kicked up debates concerning emotional support animals, those who maintain that if the kangaroo had a ticket and behaved well, then it should be allowed to fly, versus those who simply would not accept such a notion. Since 2021, when the U.S. updated its airline policy, emotional support animals have been banned-from being allowed on flights along with the classic kangaroo-as only trained service dogs are permitted.
