Kangana Ranaut’s Indira Gandhi Film ‘Emergency’ Sets Release Date – Global Bulletin
'Emergency,' an account of a turbulent Indian political period, directed by and headlined by Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut, has set a release date.
Ranaut stars as Indira Gandhi and the cast also includes Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and the late Satish Kaushik. It follows Jeanne Vaubernier (Maïwenn), a woman born into poverty who uses her intellect and charms to climb the social ladder, rising to the opulent court of King Louis XV of France (Depp). India’s Baweja Studios, whose credits include “Dilwale,” “Diljale,” “Chaar Sahibzaade” 1 and 2, “Qayamat,” “Bhaukaal” 1 and 2 and “Super V,” is opening an Initial Public Offering of up to 54,00,000 equity shares on Jan. 29.
