Harris said that she thought that Trump “loves his family,” but admitted that she did not “really know him.” Their meeting at the ABC News presidential debate on Sept. 10 was the first time they met in person. Recent polls show that Harris is winning the Latino vote, but Trump has made gains, particularly among men. At the town hall, one voter said he was upset with the way that President Joe Biden had been treated, as there was pressure on him to step aside after a poor debate performance in June.
