The 2024 presidential campaign was thrown into even further chaos on Sunday (July 21) when President Joe Biden announced that he would drop out of the race just weeks after a calamitous debate performance against Donald Trump drew renewed calls for the commander-in-chief to step aside. The whole vibe is perfect for what Charli has deemed “brat summer,” a time when her fans are invited to get grimy and sweat it out on the dance floor with a few essentials (courtesy of Glamour) including: square-rimmed sunglasses you never take off, messy hair, a smudged, smoky eye, bad tattoos and old, corded Apple headphones. Harris’ Kamala HQ campaign X account immediately appeared to hop on the coveted nod from Charli, changing the banner on its X page to the signature Brat lime green palette and font.
