Kalen Gorman Dies: TV Producer Was 59
Kalen Gorman, TV producer and behind-the-scenes content provider for Ryan Murphy's Glee, died Tuesday, September 24, after a battle with breast cancer.
But she was perhaps best known for her work on Glee, producing behind-the-scenes content during her stint at Fox Broadcasting, which generated millions of views on YouTube and other platforms. A Toronto native raised in Los Angeles, Gorman began her career assisting Pat Kingsley at PMK Public Relations before moving into television, working as a segment producer at E! More recently, she worked for All3Media America, Discovery and Studio71, where she executive produced and directed the Snapchat series Keepin’ It Real With Keke Palmer, Step by Step With Matt Steffanina and Worst Firsts With Brittany Furlan and the Facebook Watch show Ladies First With Grace Helbig.
