Kai Cenat Reacts to Being Mentioned in Drake’s UMG Lawsuit: ‘I Was Told to Stay On Stream’

The popular streamer assumed he was also being sued.

The Toronto rapper actually DM’d him on Instagram a few nights before as he was getting ready to drop what was supposed be his knockout blow in “ Family Matters,” which was immediately answered by Lamar about 30 minutes later with the diabolical “ Meet the Grahams.” In the lawsuit, Drake’s lawyers suggest content creators like Kai couldn’t have made money off their reaction videos if UMG didn’t “whitelist” the song in the first place. “These content creators could not have legally republished the Defamatory Material in full or profited from their reaction videos without UMG first whitelisting the Recording,” the document reads.
