Kacey Musgraves’ New Reformation Collection Is ‘Made for Frolicking’: ‘Designing Every Little Detail Was Such a Joy’

Kacey Musgraves will spend the majority of the fall on tour in support of her sixth studio album “Deeper Well,” but the country singer had one last piece of business to wrap up before hitting the road: a new collection with Reformation. The Los Angeles-based fashion brand and the country singer-songwriter collaborated on a new 17-piece capsule now available to shop on Reformation.com and which, according to a statement “is inspired by Kacey’s personal and musical evolution.” The collection marks her first collaboration with a fashion brand, and includes a range of fall classics: denim Western button-ups, checkered day dresses, knee-high boots, denim corsets, fur jackets and, perhaps the best piece in the lineup, an ankle-grazing plaid Cotswolds Coat. “Designing every little detail of this collection and partnering with an earth-conscious brand I’m organically a fan of was such a joy and a fun opportunity to flex a different creative muscle,” Musgraves told Variety over email.
