Kabir Khan, Imtiaz Ali, Rima Das and Onir’s IFFM Opener ‘My Melbourne’ Unveils Trailer (EXCLUSIVE) – Global Bulletin


A trailer has been unveiled for 'My Melbourne,' an anthology film showcasing diverse immigrant experiences in Australia's cultural capital.

The project, backed by VicScreen and Screen Australia, brings together four acclaimed Indian directors with emerging filmmakers to explore themes of identity and belonging. Kabir Khan and Rahul Vohra direct “Setara,” co-directed by Puneet Gulati, which portrays a young Afghan refugee finding her place through cricket. Produced by Mitu Bhowmick Lange AM, who also serves as IFFM festival director, the film features dialogue in English, Bengali, Hindi, Dari and Auslan.
