K-Pop Celebrity Sports Show ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships’ Returns To MBC After Two Years
Korean broadcaster MBC is reviving K-pop celebrity gameshow 'Idol Star Athletics Championships'after a two-year hiatus.
According to the broadcaster, this year’s show will feature new hosts, including presenter Jun Hyun-moo, singers Lee Chan-won and Kang Daniel, girl group NMIXX’s Haewon and STAYC’s Sieun, as well as rapper Din Din. First aired in 2010, ISAC features different K-pop idol groups participating in multi-sports events during major Korean holidays, including Korea’s Lunar New Year as well as the chuseok fall harvest festival. Top K-pop stars and groups which have appeared in past editions include BTS, Seventeen, Twice, NCT 127, Stray Kids, Shinee, Sistar and Super Junior.
