Justin Timberlake Was “Not Intoxicated” at Time of DWI Arrest and Police Made “Mistake,” His Lawyer Claims During Court Hearing

The singer is set to be arraigned for a second time, appearing virtually in court on Aug. 2.

Timberlake was not present during the court proceedings, as he is set to perform two dates in Poland over the weekend as part of his Forget Tomorrow world tour. Shortly after midnight on June 18, Timberlake was arrested by police in Sag Harbor for allegedly driving while intoxicated. In the complaint, it is stated that Timberlake’s eyes “were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was uneasy afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”
