Justin Bieber Supports Chris Brown Amid U.K. Arrest, $6.7 Million Bail

Justin Bieber supports Chris Brown after his U.K. arrest and $6.7 million bail, commenting on Brown's Instagram following allegations of grievous bodily harm

Brown was released on £6.7 million bail on Wednesday, May 21, a week after his arrest in Manchester, England, in connection with an alleged 2023 London nightclub assault. “We have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Chris Brown with one count of grievous bodily harm, contrary to section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861,” said prosecutor Adele Kelly in a statement. Bieber has previously expressed his admiration for Brown via social media, including a May 2019 Instagram post praising him as a combination of legendary musicians Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur.
