Justin Bieber gave a shoutout to his former mentor after watching Usher’s star-studded Super Bowl halftime show.

Two days before the Super Bowl, TMZ reported that Usher, 45, “reached out to” Justin about performing in the halftime show. Sources told the publication that the singers “talked directly to each other” about the Super Bowl plans, which sadly didn’t come to fruition.
