Baldoni, 40, praised Lively, 36, for bringing the lead role of Lilly to life, telling People on Tuesday, April 30, “There wasn’t a part of this production that she didn’t touch and have influence on. The actor, who is also an executive producer on the project, called Lively’s performance “strong, funny and intelligent — all the things you want from a female heroine.” Baldoni, meanwhile, is set to take on the role of Ryle.
