Jurassic World reboot lands July 2025 release date from Universal Pictures and director David Leitch... which wont feature ANY previous character

Universal Pictures is moving into its next Jurassic era, dating a new Jurassic World reboot for July 2, 2025.

The currently-untitled film doesn't have any other movies opening on that date, though it will arrive nine days before Warner Bros.' Superman: Legacy. That record only stood for four years, though, when Titanic became the first movie to gross over $1 billion worldwide, a feat Jurassic Park nearly achieved. 2018's Jurassic World stumbled a bit but still put up huge numbers with $417 million domestic and $1.31 billion worldwide.
