Jurassic Park fans go wild as new film gets 2025 release date - 'I hope they never stop making these!'

Jurassic Park fans have gone wild after Universal Pictures announced the franchise would be rebooted in 2025. The studio announced on Tuesday it was moving into its next Jurassic era.

It follows the latest film in the franchise, Jurassic World Dominon, which came out in 2022 and starred Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum (pictured) The new movie was announced X, formerly Twitter, by the Jurassic World account - which posted a picture of the franchise's logo with the date 'July 2, 2025'. That record only stood for four years, though, when Titanic became the first movie to gross over $1 billion worldwide, a feat Jurassic Park nearly achieved.
