I remember the smallest, and it was from someone who was quite famous, [and] his name was Mr. David Bowie,” Raphael, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly at the One Fair Wage event hosted by Chrissy Teigen on Thursday, September 6. There’s a system here [in the United States] that also doesn’t make sense to other people because they’re like, ‘Aren’t you paid?’ And then you have to explain like, ‘No, I’m actually not. “Well, like so many of the other actors and writers and people who’ve shown up, we got our start working in restaurants for tips, and so this is an issue that we understand,” Raphael told Us.
