Julien Baker Previews New Songs, Leaves Gig Early After Feeling Sick at Tour Shows
Julien Baker performed two unreleased tracks alongside indie rock artist Torres over the weekend before falling ill and ending a second gig.
“I have, actually, sad news, which is that totally unexpectedly Julien rushed off the stage and is sick and is throwing up,” Dacus said, adding that she got the permission from Baker to inform the crowd. “Know that you’re in mind and she was wanting to walk out here, shaking, and finish the show,” Dacus continued, before encouraging the crowd to applaud Baker’s band. Baker announced her fall tour in August, starting her North American trek in Chicago.
