Julien Baker and TORRES are officially teaming up for a full-length collaborative album, Send a Prayer My Way, due April 18 via Matador Records. The 11-track album fuses classic country storytelling with reflections on modern struggles, navigating themes of love, loss, and life on the road. In a statement, she recalled the moment that inspired the track: “The morning I went to pick up my dog Sylvia from an upstate shelter, I was at home making my coffee and I turned on WFMU and Dolly Parton’s ‘Cracker Jack’ was on.
