Brad Furman's 'People Not Places' has added Julia Mayorga & Allegra Leguizamo to a cast led by Shirley MacLaine and Stephen Dorff.
EXCLUSIVE: Julia Mayorga( American Rust) and Allegra Leguizamo( Tin Soldier) have been tapped for roles alongside Academy Award winner Shirley MacLaine and Stephen Dorff in the indie drama People Not Places from director Brad Furman ( The Lincoln Lawyer). Written by Ellen Brown Furman ( The Infiltrator), the filmmaker’s mother, pic watches as Clare (MacLaine), an elderly widow living in Atlantic City, meets an erratic homeless man (Dorff) who sleeps in cars. Currently, Mayorga can be seen opposite Jeff Daniels, Bill Camp and Maura Tierney on Showtime’s American Rust, which moved to Prime Video for its second season earlier this year.
