But in the first trailer for the movie, which serves as a prequel to the 1968 psychological horror film Rosemary’s Baby, she learns the hard way that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The couple, played by Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally, extend their apparent kindness, which leads Gionoffrio to meet a Broadway producer (Jim Sturgess) who could change her life forever.
