The “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” standout has joined the cast of Disney’s “Freaky Friday” sequel, Variety can confirm. Ganatra most recently directed episodes of Hulu’s “Welcome to Chippendale’s.” Her other credits include the 2020 film “The High Note” with Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross, along with 2019’s “Late Night,” starring Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson. When a mystical fortune cookie forces them to swap bodies, the duo must learn to accept each other unconditionally — in time for Tess’ wedding and Anna’s big gig with her band.
