Judi Dench teared up during a conversation about the death of her close friend, Maggie Smith. The Harry Potter actress died last month.

Yesterday (Saturday, October 5) saw Dame Judi Dench break her silence on the death of Maggie Smith – just days after the actress passed away. There were so many tributes for Maggie (Credit: BFI / YouTube) In a statement, they said: “She passed away peacefully in hospital early this morning, Friday 27th September. As the curtain comes down on a national treasure, we join all those around the world in remembering with the fondest admiration and affection her many great performances and her warmth and wit that shone through both on and off the stage,” he wrote.
