Judges to Diddy accusers: Reveal yourselves or your lawsuits will be tossed

As Sean "Diddy" Combs' criminal trial approaches, he's been racking up wins against his accusers in civil court cases.

Plaintiffs have filed more than 55 lawsuits against Combs in New York federal and state courts, accusing the rapper of sexual assault, rape, drugging, and other forms of violence — often in excruciating detail. Combs' lawyers have argued that allowing the accusers to remain anonymous causes "a significant asymmetry in fact-gathering" because it makes it harder for the defense attorneys to find people who could discredit their stories. ( Buzbee formally withdrew as the plaintiff attorney in his Manhattan federal court cases last month after it was revealed that the Texas-based lawyer was not granted permission to practice law in the Southern District of New York.)
