Judge Sets New Date for Harvey Weinstein Retrial

Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of rape in a 2020 trial, where he was sentenced to 23 years in prison

Wigdor, who represented eight of Weinstein’s victims, told Us Weekly in a statement. Judge Madeline Singas also explained that the majority was “whitewashing the facts to conform to a he-said/she-said narrative” and the appeal continued a “disturbing trend of overturning juries’ guilty verdicts in cases involving sexual violence.”
