A judge stood by her earlier decision to throw out a manslaughter charge against Alec Baldwin.
A judge on Friday refused to reopen the manslaughter case against Alec Baldwin, standing by her earlier decision to throw out the charge due to withheld evidence. “The Court concludes that the state does not raise any factual or legal arguments that would justify the grant of a motion to reconsider,” Marlowe Sommer wrote. Baldwin was preparing to film a scene at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in 2021, when his gun fired, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.
