Judge Blocks Release of Gene Hackman and Wife’s Autopsy Reports and Images of Bodies
A judge has temporarily blocked the release of images and autopsies of Gene Hackman and wife Betsy Arakawa, who died last month in Santa Fe.
A judge on Monday blocked the release of police images of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, who were found dead in their home in Santa Fe, N.M. While granting the temporary restraining order, Judge Matthew J. Wilson set a hearing on March 31 to determine whether an injunction should be issued, further preventing disclosure. The CDC advises reducing the risk by sealing holes and gaps in the home and placing rat traps, thus minimizing exposure to rodents.
