Though the night is a celebration of film, it wouldn’t be an Apatow speech without dabbling “just a little” into politics, particularly when there’s an opportunity to take a few pot shots at Trump. We liberals may have alienated our audiences by being too woke,” he said before suggesting some possible new projects that might appeal to the “MAGA crowd”, such as “ The Real Housewives of January 6 th ”.
