Juana Acosta-Starring Thriller ‘The Bail’ Gets U.K., German Theatrical Runs After Latin Quarter Distribution Pickup (EXCLUSIVE)

Latin Quarter Distribution scooped U.K. and German theatrical rights to Colombian-Spanish debut director Gonzolo Perdomo's 'The Bail.'

Madrid – The Hague-based Latin Quarter Entertainment, a sales, co-production and distribution outfit, has acquired U.K. and German theatrical rights to “ The Bail ” (“La fianza”) from debut Colombian-Spanish director Gonzalo Perdomo. An official synopsis for the black comedy thriller reads: “After celebrating her daughter’s sixth birthday, Ana receives an unwelcome visit from Walter, a strange man looking for her husband Ricardo, with whom he has unfinished business. Juana Acosta (“Perfect Strangers,” “Anna”) stars as the film’s lead protagonist alongside Julian Roman (“Hasta Que Te Conocí”) and Israel Elejalde (“Madres paralelas”).
