Joy was tapped to replace veteran anchor Chris Matthews in the MSNBC 7pm slot, in July 2020 after he abruptly resigned that March. She’ll now host The ReidOut, a news program airing weeknights, and will continue reporting and anchoring for the network elsewhere.
