The Journey singer took to Facebook on Sunday (Sept. 22) to respond to criticism surrounding his performance at Rock in Rio earlier this month, sharing a video in which the vocalist appeared to be struggling with his ear monitors, which led to his inability to hit a few of the notes in “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Pineda then offered to leave the band if fans want him out, requesting them to comment “Stay” or “Go” on the post as a vote. The band’s guitarist Neal Schon also uplifted Pineda in a Facebook comment about the criticism.
