Journey singer Arnel Pineda asks fans to vote if he can remain in band: 'Simply text GO or STAY'
The singer, 57, on Sunday suggested fans vote if he should remain in the band or not, following a heavily-scrutinized September 15 performance at the Rock in Rio festival.
Pineda posted a clip on Facebook in which an ear monitor appeared to malfunction, impacting his performance on the band's signature hit Don't Stop Believin' Journey guitarist Neal Schon said in the Facebook comment thread, Ultimate Classic Rock reported, 'Arnel dont listen to these blogs. Pineda said in a 2014 interview with the AP that he would 'be more than happy to give way' to the band's original singer Steve Perry, should he want to come back to the musical ensemble.
