Grammy-winning singer Joss Stone opens up about her life on — and off — the stage with her family.
Stone — who's kicking off the U.S. leg of her Ellipses Tour — tells PEOPLE exclusively the inspiration behind the song came from a meaningful moment with her husband, Cody DaLuz, while they were still dating. Though she's been touring, Stone says she's been able to spend time with her family on the road — and enjoy newlywed life following a surprise wedding last year. But while the star, who's also mom to son Shackleton 'Shack' Stoker, 21 months, loves seeing Violet in her big sound-muffling headphones at her shows, Stone underscores that she wants her kids to live a "normal" life.
