Josie Gibson pays tribute to four friends who took their own lives during lockdown

Josie Gibson is throwing her support behind a new suicide prevention campaign after four of her friends took their own lives during lockdown.

The presenter, 39, fought back in tears in March 2022 [pictured] when she revealed on This Morning the tragic loss of four of her male friends after they failed to get the support they needed. The former Big Brother star has teamed up with charity CALM and the Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation (IFCF) to mark World Suicide Prevention Day as it was revealed that 7,000 young people took their own lives in the last 10 years. The important video saw the group discuss how to help to start the conversation around youth suicide with the public and the alarming rise in preventable deaths, as well as opening up on their own concerns and experiences.
