Josh McLaughlin Named President Of Jake Gyllenhaal’s Nine Stories Productions
Jake Gyllenhaal's Nine Stories Productions has named Josh McLaughlin as its new President, Deadline has learned.
As he works alongside Gyllenhaal to build out Nine Stories’ slate, McLaughlin will look to help the company expand into a creative hub for filmmakers and a home for beloved IP. I greatly admire his wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge, and I look forward to working together to expand our slate of dynamic projects across film, television, and stage.” Before establishing Wink Pictures, McLaughlin spent 10 years at Focus Features, eventually rising to President of Production, where he was involved in an array of films including Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman, Kasi Lemmons’ Harriet, Joe Wright’s Darkest Hour, and Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread.
