X/@HawleyMO Senator Josh Hawley had stirred very conflicting reactions on social media while he announced the investigation that would identify the financial patrons of the recent riots in Los Angeles. Some found themselves in praise with one “start with Christy Walton and Soros,” “confiscate their wealth so that they could pay for the damage caused in the riots.” Another accused tracing the money to a Neville Singham, the person who is most widely alleged to have ties with China, thus reiterating conspiracies about foreign interference in the U.S. protests. Still, to the question of whether this investigation will bring tangible outcomes remains to be answered, but for now, at least, the conversation on who might be pulling the strings of civil unrest in America is back in lamentable fashion.
