Josh Brolin Says “Green Lantern Didn’t Work Out” & Comments On Kyle Chandler Being In Talks For DC’s HBO Series ‘Lanterns’
Josh Brolin had reportedly been in talks to play Hal Jordan in the HBO series Lanterns, based on DC Comics' Green Lantern.
In a recent interview, the Dune star acknowledged that things “didn’t work out” and commented on reports that Kyle Chandler is in talks to play the superhero role. Lanterns is a series from Ozark’s Chris Mundy, Watchmen‘s Damon Lindelof, and comic book writer Tom King. It follows new recruit John Stewart and Lantern legend Jordan, two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, Earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.
