José ‘Pepe’ Bastón’s Elefantec Global Adapts IP From Spanish-Language Comedy Channel Enchufe.tv (EXCLUSIVE)
2bLatam, behind Spanish-language enchufe.tv, has joined forces with Mexican indie Elefantec Global to develop content around enchufe.tv’s IP.
Founded by former Televisa exec José “Pepe” Bastón, Elefantec Global is behind such notable productions as “Bosé” for Paramount+ in Latin America, “La rebellion” for ViX+ and “Todo por Lucy’ for Prime Video. Bastian Manintveld, president and co-founder of the 2btube group, added: “Having such strong allies in the industry, allows us to go beyond and bring our content and unique voice to large audiences globally. “We are proud to collaborate with the talented enchufe.tv team in developing and expanding content and characters that have made millions of people laugh in Latin America,” Bastón concurred.
