At the time, he and his financial advisor Roger Rodas — who was behind the wheel — were on their way to a charity event to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan in a cherry-red Porsche Carrera. Fans found his cause of death eerie due to his role in the Fast & Furious franchise that followed a group of friends who competed in illegal street racing and heists. Soon after, his Facebook page read: 'It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide.'
