Jordan Weiss & Michelle Nader Sell NFL-Themed Rom-Com Pitch To New Line
Jordan Weiss and Michelle Nader have sold an untitled rom-com pitch to New Line Cinema, Deadline has learned.
Set against the backdrop of the NFL playoffs, the as-yet-untitled film will watch as two veteran “players” in the game of love, who typically date younger, find their match when they meet each other. Creating and exec producing Dollface at just 26, Weiss’s series watches as a young woman tries to reconnect with friends, after breaking up with her longtime boyfriend. Also an exec producer on the Dennings-led seried 2 Broke Girls, her other TV credits include the U.S. version of Australian sitcom Kath & Kim(which she created), as well as The King of Queens and Spin City.
