Jordan Peele’s Next Movie Set for Halloween Season 2026

The 'Get Out' filmmaker's next project is shrouded in mystery.

No other details were available, but the Halloween season date feels appropriate given the director’s penchant for horror. After a career in comedy, Peele burst onto the scene as an A-list director with 2017’s Get Out, a film that earned Peele an original screenplay Oscar, as well as landing noms for picture, director and for best actor for star Daniel Kaluuya. Previously, Peele’s next film was dated for Dec. 25, 2024, but that was before the dual writer and actors strikes upended Hollywood’s theatrical calendar.
