Jordan Drops ‘My Sweet Land’ As Its Oscar Entry For Best International Feature, Reportedly After Pressure From Azerbaijan

Jordan has withdrawn 'My Sweet Land' as its entry for the Oscars' Best International Feature Film race, reportedly under pressure from Azerbaijan.

Director Sareen Hairabedian and producer Azza Hourani tell Deadline exclusively, “This is very devastating news for our team that an emotional intimate story of a child’s love for his home and family was banned and silenced.
