Jonnie Irwin shared a touching and heartbreaking message to his three young children before he died at the age of 50 following a three year battle with lung cancer

Last summer, the TV star opened up about his stage four cancer diagnosis and shared the message he would be leaving in his memory for his sons, Rex, four and three year old twins Rafa and Cormac. A Place In The Sun released an official statement on Instagram as they paid tribute to Jonnie who presented the Channel 4 show for 18 years. Jonnie was a much-loved part of the A Place In The Sun family and for more than 18 years be brought joy, wit and bundles of energy to the show.
