Joni Mitchell’s Music Returns To Spotify
After a two-year absence, Joni Mitchell has returned to the streamer.
She was following the lead of Neil Young, who removed his catalog to protest the company’s decision to give podcast host Joe Rogan an exclusive platform. Young announced earlier this month he was coming back to Spotify, acknowledging that he can’t boycott every streamer that carries information he doesn’t agree with. Rogan signed a new deal with Spotify in February, which the Wall Street Journal estimated was worth as much as US$250 million over several years.
