Jonathan Majors sued by former girlfriend for assault and defamation

Grace Jabbari lawsuit also accuses Marvel actor of intentional infliction of emotional distress, battery and malicious prosecution

Jonathan Majors’ former girlfriend has filed a lawsuit accusing the Creed III and Marvel actor of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution and defamation. In a civil lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, Jabbari claimed Majors subjected her to “a pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023”, according to legal documents obtained by the Guardian. The lawsuit accuses Majors of exhibiting “concerning” behavior towards Jabbari as early as September 2021 including “verbal assaults and frightening anger”, before allegedly escalating to physically attacking her in July 2022.
