Jonathan Majors lands his FIRST major film role since domestic assault conviction - with actor to star in 'supernatural revenge thriller' Merciless
Jonathan Majors, 34, has landed his first major film role in the supernatural revenge thriller titled, Merciless, following his domestic violence conviction.
According to Martin, the movie - which is based on an original screenplay penned by Frank Hannah - 'intertwines themes of possession, revenge and personal justice within a haunting narrative,' according to Deadline. He stated, 'In graduate school, I had the good fortune to study screenwriting under Blacklist scribe Millard Lampell and learned from him the dangers of letting politics undermine due process and deprive artists of their careers.' Last year on December 18, the jury found the actor guilty of a misdemeanor assault upon hearing of an altercation that took place between the star and Jabbari in March 2023 in the back of an SUV.
