'Parks and Recreation' alum Jonathan Joss died at age 59 after being fatally shot by his neighbor in Texas

The Parks and Recreation cast filled homes with laughs and love during its seven-season run on NBC, but since the show ended, fans have still been able to see their favorite faces from the group in a slew of high-profile projects. Recording had already begun for the series before it was recently announced at the ATX TV Festival, which featured Pamela Adlon, Lauren Tom, Toby Huss and one of the show’s new writers, Saladin K. Patterson. Luke Perry’s sudden and tragic death in March 2019 left the Riverdale writers room with the undertaking of giving Fred Andrews a proper sendoff while also honoring the late actor.
