On this week’s episode of “ The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart slammed Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for voting to pass a Republican-backed spending bill. “You see, Republicans, your little evil budget plan might have worked if you hadn’t forgotten that one Senator Schumer is Charles in charge of the Democratic party,” Stewart said. Stewart then played a news report stating that Schumer sparked outrage after announcing he would vote to pass the budget and avoid a government shutdown.
