Jon Stewart got so riled up during a tirade about Elon Musk and Donald Trump on Monday that he sliced his hand open smashing a mug. Although The Daily Show host managed to continue his monologue after the incident, he quipped, “I’ll be going to the hospital soon.” During Monday night’s episode, Stewart got heated while discussing DOGE’s government cuts, which have led to the systemic firing of tens of thousands of federal workers across nearly a dozen agencies with little regard for their livelihoods, service, or value to the public.
