Jon Stewart Sets New ‘Weekly Show’ Comedy Central Podcast
Jon Stewart will take an extended dive into current events in a new The Weekly Show With Jon Stewart a Comedy Central podcast set to launch in June.
From MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Audio, the podcast will focus on “the most critical topics across current events,” featuring a variety of guests, including newsmakers, authors and celebrities. “Jon’s return to The Daily Show has been a runway success – a powerful reminder of why he’s the voice of our generation and so critical to the national conversation,” said Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Office of the CEO and President/CEO, Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios. Stewart kicked off his return to The Daily Show at Comedy Central in February after a nine-year absence, where he hosts one night a week alongside the News Team.
